Instagram is testing the ability to add a unique caption to each individual slide in a carousel, instead of one caption covering the whole post.
It's a small change with big implications, think step-by-step tutorials, product breakdowns, or storytelling where every slide gets its own context. Carousels already generate around 12% more engagement than single posts, so this could make them even harder to ignore.
📈 Issa Rae Just Broke TikTok's Viewership Record
Issa Rae's production company dropped Screen Time on TikTok and ByteDance's microdrama app PineDrama, racking up nearly 75 million views in its first week and breaking both platforms' all-time record for seven-day watch time.
The series is made of 1-minute episodes following a group of friends whose secrets get exposed, with Act 2 dropping May 22. She's got a full deal with TikTok to co-develop more micro-series a full-circle moment since she launched her career on YouTube over 15 years ago.
