🏠 Instagram reels feed, YouTube voice replies, and top trends of the week…
Instagram is getting rid of the home feed? Plus the viral trends of the week. Here’s what’s up:

👋 Weekly Tips & Tricks
🏠 Reels-First Home Feed
Meta is experimenting with a new interface that opens Instagram directly to the Reels tab in select markets. Stories remain at the top, but the Reels feed is now front and center, and followed content is split into “All,” “Friends,” and “Latest” tabs.
This Reels-centric design – first seen in Instagram’s new iPad app – underscores Instagram’s push to compete with TikTok, as Meta noted short videos are fueling its growth (3+ billion monthly users, with Reels reshared 4.5B times).
🫶 #TikTokForGood
TikTok is doubling down on social good initiatives with the launch of its 2025 #TikTokForGood Change Makers Program. The five-month program spotlights 50 creators worldwide who drive awareness for social issues, providing them with training, resources, and networking to amplify their impact.
To support cause-driven creators, TikTok also introduced new fundraising features: users can add donation stickers to videos or put charity links in their bios, and a new in-app Fundraisers hub helps people discover and share ongoing charity campaigns.
🗣️YouTube Voice Memos
YouTube voice replies to comments are being expanded to hundreds of thousands more creators – allowing creators to reply with a 30-second audio note in the comments, which provides a new, personal way to engage audiences.
