👂 Instagram is listening to creator feedback, TikTok has gone cinematic, and no more YouTube copyright claims…

Are content creators actually being taken…seriously??!?!?!!?!? Here’s what’s up this week:

📰 Content Creator News

✨ Instagram Edits App gets a MAJOR Upgrade

Instagram’s new video editing app Edits just got a major boost. Creators can now choose from 125 fonts and 15 voice effects to spice up Reels or videos, and a handy “Apply all” option lets you slap the same filter or transition across multiple clips in one go. Plus, you can finally download your edited videos without that pesky Instagram watermark.

🎬 TikTok is at…Cannes Film Festival???

In case you missed it, TikTok is an official partner of the Cannes Film Festival this year, and they’re going all-in on exclusive content. Search for #Cannes2025 on TikTok to catch behind-the-scenes clips, red carpet highlights, and creator vlogs.

🎤 YouTube is giving Music to its Creators?

YouTube is embracing AI to help creators with music. They’re rolling out a free AI music-making tool within the Creator Music library. Essentially, you type in a prompt describing the vibe or genre you need (say, “lofi hip hop with a calm mood”), and the tool will generate an instrumental track for you on the spot. You can then download it and use it in your videos without copyright worries.
