Lots of new updates this week. Hereās what you need to know:

š āDraftsā ā New Creator Incubator
Instagram also launched Drafts, an initiative to invest in emerging creators and artists by providing support to bring their draft ideas to life. (Note: This is not the regular Drafts feature for saving posts, but a new program name.)
Through Drafts, Instagram will partner with selected creators ā offering financial support, connections, co-ideation, collaboration opportunities and more ā to help promising talent execute ambitious creative projects.

TikTok quietly updated the app to give viewers more control over their For You Page recommendations. Users can now fine-tune what they see (for example, opting to see less of a certain topic).
Highly relevant or niche content might win out with these controls. Keep creating content that resonates strongly with your target community to avoid being filtered out.

š Upload as Unlisted First (Pro Tip)
YouTube is encouraging creators to upload videos as āUnlistedā or āPrivateā first and wait for the checks to complete before publishing. That way, any monetization review happens behind the scenes, and your video can go public already fully monetized (no initial yellow icon at launch).
This is a best practice to avoid losing revenue during that crucial early viewership spike.
