Instagram Reels Update, Pinterest Fights AI, and the top trends of the week…

Has Instagram gone CRAZY?? Here are the latest trends and updates you should know about:

👋 Weekly Tips & Tricks

⏰ 20 Minute Reels??

Instagram rolled out multiple Reels feature upgrades. Creators can now record Reels up to 20 minutes long (up from 90s), with a new “Undo” button for clip edits and a touch-up intensity slider for filters.

📝 YouTube Shorts new Editor

In response to long-time creator feedback, YouTube overhauled the Shorts editor with a new timeline-based interface. Creators can now trim, reorder, and zoom into clips in one place, instead of navigating multiple editing screens.

🙅‍♀️ Pinterest is against AI?

Pinterest added new controls to limit AI-generated content in users’ home feeds. With a simple toggle, Pinners can now reduce how much “synthetic” (AI-made) imagery they encounter. Pinterest says this update is about maintaining user trust – ensuring people continue to see authentic creator content and not just a flood of AI images.
