👩‍💻 YouTube’s new Comment Section, Keyword Hacks, and top trends of the week…

YouTube has a new comment section, plus the viral trends of the week. Here’s what’s up:

👋 Weekly Tips & Tricks

👩‍💻YouTube’s new Comments?

YouTube is trialing a threaded comments feature on mobile, which groups replies under each top-level comment for a cleaner discussion flow.

Once this rolls out widely, be ready to engage more deeply in comment conversations – a well-timed reply or question in your comment threads can boost viewer interaction and signal the algorithm that your community is active. Encourage your audience to reply to each other and build a mini-community around your content.

🔑 Use Niche Key Words

Users increasingly browse algorithmic feeds based on interests (like sustainability, gloss skincare routines, or small biz stories), shifting away from familiar creator feeds. Influence now stems from resonance, not follow count.

Build content clusters around a niche theme and engage with thematic conversations. If you focus on “minimalist skincare” or “budget travel,” join relevant hashtag communities and feed emerging threads. Your posts could appear in feeds of users actively exploring those interests.

🧶 Threads gets an upgrade

Meta’s Threads (Instagram’s Twitter-like platform) added an extremely handy update: it auto-numbers multi-post threads for you.

Now, when you create a series of linked posts, Threads will label them “1/💡” “2/💡”, etc., so readers know there’s more to come. Micro-influencers can use this to share longer stories or tips split across multiple posts without confusing their audience. No need to manually type “(1/3)” anymore – just focus on your content, and the app will ensure your followers follow the full thread from start to finish.

🔥 Top Social Trends of the Week

⭐️ “Oh boy…”: This trend is using the “oh boy” section of Sabrina Carpenter’s song Manchild. You can use this to describe an awkward situation, such as this one here:

@charlouize

i just wanted to make a video with my new glass 🎀 #relatable #girlsrelate #bestfriend #exbsf #friendshipbreakup #fyp #trending

⭐️ Sketch Artist: This is a fairly new trend where users are singing to Chopped N Skrewed (feat. Ludacris) (Instrumental) but adding their own lyrics with the autotune filter on TikTok. You can sing about anything you want to preach about!!

@itsbrinababyy

Yes babe! You’re never the exception 🫵🏾 #choppedandscrewed #choppedandskrewedchallenge #tpain #fyp

⭐️ Snaps!!: This is an easy trend to recreate. All you have to do is add a relatable text and snap to the snapping audio. Ex: “When my bestie says she wants to get coffee, go shopping, then eat ice cream in our jammies.”
