 📸 Instagram’s new Tools

Instagram rolled out new Reels performance metrics for creators in late August. A “Retention” chart is now available for each Reel, showing where viewers drop off during playback.

Instagram also replaced the 3-second view rate with a “Skip Rate”, which tells what percentage of viewers swiped away within the first 3 seconds.

👻 Snapchat’s useful upgrade

Snapchat rolled out features to make content creation easier. A “Create a Video” template in Memories (now on iOS globally) lets you pick a few saved Snaps, select a song from the Sounds library, choose a Lens theme, and auto-generate a polished compilation video.
