🤝 Instagram Friends

Instagram’s new “Friends” tab in Reels (right) shows content your friends have liked, created, reposted or commented on, and its opt-in map feature (left) lets users share their location with chosen friends.

Instagram introduced these features alongside a repost option for Reels and posts, aiming to help users connect more with friends through content.

 📹 YouTube Collab Upgrade

YouTube began testing a new collaborative feature that lets multiple creators co-create a single video.

The experimental tool, available to a limited number of channels, allows a creator to invite collaborators to publish a joint video, which then gets promoted to all the collaborators’ audiences; each contributor’s name appears alongside the main channel with a one-tap “Subscribe” button for viewers.

🧶 Threads is upping their game!

Threads (Instagram’s Twitter-like app) is maintaining momentum with new features to court creators. Creators can now put up to 5 links in their bio (useful for promoting YouTube, shops, podcasts, etc.), and Threads will display click counts for those links.
